The Dean's Office is responsible for ensuring that the administrative activities within the organization run efficiently, by providing structure to other employees throughout the organization. These activities can range from representing USG eCampus on a system level, budgets, and records, etc.
Curriculum and Instruction staff are responsible for the support, development, and training of USG eCampus faculty and support staff as well as the development, revision, and continuous improvement of USG eCampus’ Open Education Resources.
The Instructional Design & Development team’s main foci include working with subject matter experts to revise and to create new course content, to troubleshoot issues within the course, and to provide assistance to faculty teaching for USG eCampus. The IDD team also conducts research in new course integrations and trend-setting methods for creating interactive and engaging course material.
The Administrative and Student Services team oversees general administrative operations and related initiatives for USG eCampus stakeholders and students. Services provided by this department include, but are not limited to: partner training and support, new USG eCampus program implementation and coordination, prospective and current student support, and the Go Back. Move Ahead. initiative.
The Student Engagement and Analytics team is responsible for coordination and support of USG eCampus student outreach that includes at-risk student intervention and proctored experience assessment. The team administers course and faculty assessments, reports learning outcomes, delivers Qualtrics survey activities, and handles course materials coordination. The team also is responsible for general data analytics, compliance, and operational effectiveness, as well as the annual eCore Factbook.
The Partnerships and Enrollment team is responsible for maintaining vital connections with affiliate institution stakeholders to ensure continued collaboration and success across Georgia's higher education institutions. This team spearheads outreach efforts to better serve dual enrolled, home-schooled, military, adult learners, and traditional students. Visits and events include, but are not limited to, all USG affiliate institutions, high school leadership conferences, military base education fairs, state and local government organization events, and civic club outreach.
The Marketing team supports the advertising, recruiting, and web-related initiatives of USG eCampus and its affiliate institutions. Services provided by this department include, but are not limited to: advertising campaign development and execution, media placement, SEO and SEM strategy, collateral development, social media management, and oversight of the USG eCampus, eCore, and eMajor websites.
