The Dean's Office is responsible for ensuring that the administrative activities within the cooperative academic arrangement run efficiently these activities can range from representing USG eCampus on a system level, budgets, and records, etc.
Curriculum and Instruction staff are responsible for helping to coordinate the support, development, and training of participating faculty and support staff as well as facilitating the development, revision, and continuous improvement of Open Educational Resources.
The eCampus Faculty Development Department assists partner institutions with organizing, planings, and facilitating large-scale faculty development opportunities that are extended to the entire University System of Georgia (USG). Through survey results from online faculty and online administrators, the department assists with assessing the areas of need (for professional development) and maintains data regarding faculty involvement, satisfaction, and utilization of services.
The Instructional Design & Development team’s main focus includes assisting partner institutions and subject matter experts on course revisions and new course content, troubleshooting issues within the course, and providing assistance to faculty as needed. The IDD team also facilitates research in new course integrations and trend-setting methods for creating interactive and engaging course material.
The Administrative and Student Services team assists partner institutions with general administrative operations and related initiatives for stakeholders and students. Services provided by this department include, but are not limited to: technological training and support, new program implementation and coordination, prospective and current student support.
The Engagement and Analytics team is responsible for supporting student outreach including at-risk student intervention and proctored experience coordination. The team assists with the administration of course and faculty assessments, reports learning outcomes, delivers Qualtrics survey activities, and assists with course materials coordination. The team also is responsible for data analytics and compliance support, as well as the annual eCore Factbook.
The Marketing and Enrollment team supports the advertising, recruiting, and web-related initiatives of USG eCampus and its affiliate institutions. Services provided by this department include, but are not limited to: advertising campaign development and execution, media placement, SEO and SEM strategy, collateral development, social media management, and oversight of the USG eCampus, eCore, and eMajor websites.
