Dr. Cathi Jenks serves as the Director of Academic Compliance for USG eCampus. Dr. Jenks is an accomplished higher education leader and researcher with more than two decades of experience spanning academic compliance, institutional effectiveness, survey research, and criminology education. She currently serves as Director of Academic Compliance for the University System of Georgia’s eCampus, where she guides academic quality assurance and accreditation compliance. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at the University of West Georgia, including Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment, where she served as the university’s SACSCOC Accreditation Liaison, Chief Institutional Research Officer, Custodian of Records and Chair of the University Assessment Committee.
Dr. Jenks’s scholarly and professional contributions include co-founding and directing the University of West Georgia’s Survey Research Center, overseeing major quantitative and qualitative projects for academic, community, and governmental partners. Her research has been published in journals, edited volumes, and technical reports, and she has delivered presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Jenks has also provided consulting expertise to multiple institutions undergoing accreditation review. Her leadership extends to extensive service within the University System of Georgia, including serving as Chair of the Regents’ Administrative Committee on Effectiveness and Accreditation. Throughout her career, she has been recognized with teaching, service, and presentation awards, reflecting her longstanding commitment to academic quality, student success, and evidence-based institutional improvement.
Dr. Jenks earned a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the Florida State University, an M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
