Tyler is from Ontario, Canada and immigrated to the United States in 2012. He completed two degrees at Berry College and went on to finish his MA in Literature at Wake Forest University in 2019. Since then, he has taught literature and critical writing courses at four colleges, including James Madison University and Mercer University. He currently resides in Senoia, Georgia.
Aside from academics, he is a prolific artist—both his photographs and paintings have appeared in galleries and exhibits across the Greater Atlanta Region.
