Cordellya holds a BA in English Education, an MA with emphasis in the teaching of Reading and Writing, an MA in Educational Leadership, a Certificate for Teaching College Level English, and multiple NASFAA certifications. She has over fifteen years of experience in higher education in a variety of roles ranging from classroom teacher to Academic Counselor, Graduation Auditor, and Financial Aid Specialist. These roles helped her develop expertise in navigating the college experience and helping students move from orientation to graduation.
In her free time, Cordellya is a mother of four and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, learning new things, reading, cooking, and hiking to waterfalls.
