Yinning had her first master's degree in Technology of Computer Application from East China Normal University, her second master's degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia, and her third master's degree in Software Engineering from Kennesaw State University. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University. She has been serving at eCampus as the Open Education Resource Instructional Designer from 2017 to 2024 and now as the eMajor Instructional Designer. She is also a part-time instructor for the Deparment of Computer Science at University of West Georgia. She has a passion for teaching, course development, OER development, and accessible design. In her spare time, Yinning enjoys playing with her four kids.
