Marla Means is the Lead Embedded Librarian for eCampus. Marla received a B.A. in Literature and Language from UNC Asheville in 2013, and completed a M.L.I.S. from the ALA accredited UNC Greensboro in 2015. Marla creates and updates content on the library course homepage and assists online students live using chat, discussion boards, and Blackboard Collaborate classroom presentations. Marla is responsible for collecting usage statistics and student satisfaction data. She presents this data and advocates for library services to the eCampus faculty. Marla loves to teach and hopes to create information literacy content for faculty to embed in their online classes. Marla is currently a doctoral student at VSU for leadership with a concentration in higher education. Her free time is spent hiking across Georgia with her two dogs.
