The items below must be completed by the Hiring Manager at least two weeks before the employee’s start date.

  • Confirm you have received the employee’s 917 #
  • Submit New Hire Onboarding Requests
  • Schedule a Day 1 orientation meeting with UWG HR.
  • Campus Tour (Aycock, UCC, East & West Commons, Starbucks etc.)
  • Schedule ID and Parking Permit pickup. 
  • Schedule any necessary DevelopWest Training
    • Compliance trainings
    • Qualified Driver’s List Training if needed
  • During the first few weeks, please send the new hire this link. (https://form.asana.com/?k=ZARSXhDyGPsD4EplqR-PIA&d=13105174335317). Have them complete the form once they are able to fill out all required fields.
  • Murphy Building tour and introductions to team members
  • eCampus onboarding presentation
  • Confirm with Mickey that the staff member(s) has been added to the eCampus master calendar
