ZSRGDIS & INGRESS Updates

Institutions are responsible for processing the Banner job – ZSRGDIS which populates a Banner temporary table.  Every hour, INGRESS extracts course sections and enrollments from the Banner temporary table and updates INGRESS Reports and GoVIEW.

Institutions should process ZSRGDIS periodically to update the Banner temporary table with any registration changes.  Some institutions have ZSRGDIS set up as an autojob to ensure timely updates.

Seat Availability

For eCore and eMajor course sections which are available within GoVIEW, a sending and receiving section are required.  eCampus is responsible for building the sending section and the partner institutions are responsible for building the receiving sections.

Once sections are built in Banner, both eCampus and the institution must process the Banner job – ZSRGDIS to submit the section for seat balancing.  Once ZSRGDIS is processed, INGRESS will collect all seats every 10 minutes and redistribute to the partner institutions.

Failure to process ZSRGDIS will result in 0 seats being assigned to the institution.
